Mission control

#FDDA #Writingspace

A Corner of a room

prepared with paper , pens , coloured pencils and such

placed randomly around a silver coloured laptop

located by a local view

if needed , a nearby camera will provide visual cues

combined with words from a number of coloured notebooks

as the ideas form and come together like a rocket

the sky is the limit as

imagination bakes the ingredients and with a little tweaking

out of nowhere, a

new piece is formed for people to read…..Liftoff!

Rectify

Salford 3rd September

Reduced to a second relic in the corner

Even the technician suggested it was past its best

Computer’s do have a shelf life – but

To others – all that was needed, was a bit of

Installation and dusting down

Fresh drivers and a spot of cleaner – soon back to its

Youthful side, particularly with a new CD-Rom Drive

Challenge 30 – no 5

“Abstract ”

#abstract #art #technology

Creating summat out of the ordinary from something ordinary

Created from my computer, watch and android phone

And captured and “mucked around with ” by my ipad

If I were to give this piece a title, I’d call it “watching over obsolescence”

The patient returns

People might be wondering where i’ve been the last few days.

DSC00386

It isn’t the fact i’ve fallen out with facebook or indeed, wordpress (NOOOO! 🙂 ) – my Trusty HP laptop had some serious palpitations in the last 7 days.

As a result, it spent some time in the lab at PC World in Manchester

Managed to keep up via the Android tablet  (pictured) and phone on twitter, but decided to give my laptop a rest during this phase of writing.

The upside ? A much improved patient – not as groggy as the last few weeks

The downside…having to watch windows update install my operating system again (Arrgh!)

UPDATE: Sunday 8th May

The patient is back – in his usual spot.

Old Red (??? must stop calling it that – Old Silver will get jealous!!!) is back on the Desk , and Running Windows 10 – though I had to go through one lengthy process to get it there

There’s now a link to wordpress on my desktop (Nice touch)
