Totally encompassed in this little parcel

out of nowhere,

a sausage or two

sends sensations to the tastebuds

totally making them wild with each chew

inquisitive minds wonder – what’s in it that’s so delicious ?

eat up! and you’ll find out!

Choices

#Socs #Choices

Choices you make, can form you later on down the line

How you make them is down to you

Of course, there are many paths to travel, to where you want to go

It’s a decision you have to make…..

Cold or Hot, Coast – Countryside – or City

Even eating, can give you pause for thought

Should you have golden syrup or chocolate sauce on your pancakes ?

Daybreak

Daybreak : Image prompt from Sue Vincents Daily Echo

Darkness disappeared from view

As the moon and sun changed places

Yawning – Luna told Ra she’d see him at noon

But now, she was off to bed

Ra smiled, as he peeked above the horizon

Everyone seeing his glow raised a smile

Apart from those who had been running under his sisters light – now

Kipping in their beds in the nearby trees

Cut knee or broken heart

Reaction is still the same

Yelps of pain, followed by fallen tears

Profile

#Fowc #Profile

Drawing of a girl from stock profile at Pholab

Positioned looking east or west, you

Really only get a portion

of the person you’re looking at

filling in the details

is down, not to art or photography, but a

little thing , the old masters called conversation

expect the character you see develop from there

Cloudy skies today ? hardly

light from the sun falls down like raindrops

even the sky is a wonderful shade of blue

a warm and bright day

ready for a picnic ? we’re headed for the park

Refuse

Salford, 22nd January 2020

#fowc #refuse

Two definitions for this word fandango’s provided – so I cobbled them together in this

feel free to comment.

Recycling Refuse!

Refusing to recycle your rubbish ?

expect a spot of bother

for if you don’t follow the bin men’s advice

until you do so, the bin will just

sit there – full to the brim of stuff that should be turned into something else

expect an extra invoice when they send a bigger rubbish truck!

Valid

#fowc #Valid

Veiled attempts to seem normal

a ticket to the dance , on a Friday night

looking at your loved one , as if you seemed to care

it seems to be working – they’re not all staring at you

don’t destroy it by being a doughnut at the bar!

Caught (in the fog)

Salford, 19th January 2020

#weather #fog

Christmas and New Year is over, but winters still here

A patchwork of heavy cloud, lies low – hiding church spires

Until it lifts – it’s difficult to get anywhere

Gravitating over roads and field alike

Hard to make out the silhouettes in the Pea Soup

The landmarks fizzle out the further they’re away

False

#Fowc #False

Simply put – A changing of facts

Mistruths bundled together – tied in bows

Even the originator of the story told , doesn’t agree with it

Lord knows, when or if the truth will come out

Likelyhood is, you’ll never see the truth, but

You’ll smell something fishy in the days and months ahead
