Artoo goes exploring

#Imagination #Character

Salford 27th May 2020

Off on a wonder…..(Image by Inky)

I’m guessing he got bored of listening to the hum of my TV

I’d cleared up the workspace, and used my desk cleaner – in the shape

of Starwars favourite, R2-D2 to clean up Hex, the laptop i write this blog on.

I headed off downstairs for a spot of dinner – and guess where i found him when i returned…..?

Talking to his chum (my coinbox) on the other side of the room…..

Challenge 30 – No3

Something in Colour and Black and white

Something B&W and in Colour….

Two things, my England Barbarians Top and My Imperial War Museum Fleece

The BaBa Rugby Shirt is Black and White, Whilst my Museum Fleece has had all the colour drained from it – it would be brilliant red if this were colour….

Both taken using Black and White Monochrome mode with my Trusty old Nikon Camera with 50mm lens

Things in 3

Three Snowglobes

A shelf with a host of miniature objects. At the Front – Three Snowglobes

The First – a Winnie the Pooh Snowscene….

The Second – a Windmill Snowglobe from the Island Rhodes

The Third – a Snowglobe from the Sea Life Centre, Manchester

It didn’t matter if it didn’t snow this Christmas – these provided the snow to order!

Benches

#C&BW #Benches

C&BW

I had to think about this particular challenge

I mean…. what kind of bench?

Parkpath BW.jpg

One on a path in a park ?

QuaysBW

Or Perhaps one by the water?

Decisions decisions…

eventually I took the decision to do both, both were taken in areas of my hometown, the first was taken with my Nikon in the green surroundings of the local park in Ordsall, in Salford, whilst the second saw me cross the Trafford Road, into Salford Quays.

Monochrome

CSC_0113

The colour seeped out of the image

as the dial on the camera was turned

in seconds, pastel colours turned into shades of grey

as the metallic silver objects shined

Back of a Leaf

CSC_0264.JPG

A Simple leaf , on the tarmac and gravel of the car park of #BASIC, the brain and spinal injury centre in Salford.

Fallen by the wind, or the passing of time with the coming of autumn, this humble leaf gave me another chance to create something special.

Been messing around with the monochrome as i continue in the quest to master my new camera.  i like this image because of the silvery veins came popping out – all from the press of a button of my new camera.
