Hanging from the tree

with your fellow breathren all

you grab your gardeners attention

to save you from a fall

 

Fruit crisp and fresh and juicy

In a basket you will go

on your way to a spring time picnic

in fresh breezes that do blow

 

Or maybe in baked goods you’ll end up

The youngsters they will try

your tasty self in a pastry

that’s known to all as a pie.

 

But best thing you’re scoffed in the playground

whilst your nice and crisp

and your seeds will go, into ground and grow

quicker than a willow-the-wisp
