Explosions of Colour

#napowrimo #summer #wakingup

Winter was duotone

White and Blue in the whole

as the leaves left the deciduous and

the ice and snow covered the conifers

when the mercury moved

the ice and snow decided to shift

and the bulbs below woke up

reaching for the sky

bringing different hues to

winters palette – cue the rainbow

from flowers fruits and all

no need for fireworks

with every shade covering the ground

and spiky evergreens joined by

delicate pastel petals
