Do i like mustard?

#socs #closeeyesandpoint

now here’s something for a Saturday Afternoon

apparently there’s more mustard in the world than custard

\

i dont mind if its on a burger – or hidden away in some sauce or dish, but it surprised me to find out (thanks to the elves @ QI) that i’d been eating variants of mustard i hadn’t even realised

Or served up with my Sunday Roast (Carrot , Turnip, Broccoli, Sprouts)

It might explain my hesitancy to eating the green stuff bar the peas when i was little…

but now i eat them all the time (and that includes Salad Cream as a Condiment)

As for Custard ? Both are nice (egg/vanilla) – but i’ll eat them after the Mustards!

  1. Oooh love a bit of QI Elf wisdom. I’ve read a few of the books which are definitely “quite interesting”. KL ❤️
