Some say this flower

Has its own unique place in the flowerbed

As it’s not blue, or violet – and please

Do Not call it Purple – there’s far too much blue in

Each of its petals

Some call it Violet-blue, but gardeners know it as Blue-Violet

    I have many blue-violet colors in my garden. I don’t know if it’s just a coincidence, but most of my blue-violet flowers reseed and come back year after year.
