Emma Bridgewater Biscuit Tin – Auto Painted by Inky using Painter Essentials 8

I sit there staring

at four sides of a gold lined tin

no biscuits lie therein

Someone has taken those covered delights

and won’t say who – avoiding a fight

Should I cry ? and be distraught

for the fate of those flapjacks – baked and not bought?

hopes and dreams fade away

until of course – next shopping day
