Keeping Warm

Winter’s Arrival

has already begun say

deciduous trees

providing the winds

with colourful playthings

around their trunks

and while birds fly on

they watch the coloured leaves dance

happily through the air

but it’s cold that side

of the window pane

so on the warm side – i stay
