nice when served up in a pie
or better when juiced

red ripe and juicy
finds itself in a doughnut
or a pastry case

fruit of its colour
easy to eat in segments
or better as juice

no apple hanging
sweet when fruit is just ripe
tasty with custard
V. Apple
red , green ? quite a choice
fits nice in hand when eating
delicious when baked
