They looked so lovely
sat hanging on the spots on the
apple tree
But with harvest arriving
the winds and the rain decided
to pick the brightest and best
Tumbling and Turning and
Taking a spin, Their egos bruised
Traversing towards the garden lawn
Some ended up in a pie in the oven
Some ended up in a pig in the field
Some ended up in the peaty soil, buried
