Over the horizon
the sun god pops
while beyond the curtain
a message drops
beyond the glazing
and well past the wall
the birds have awoken
some making a call
Not much to chirp at
at this time of day
but the cats are all inside
so it’s time to play
especially when someone
has found the need
to provide all with breakfast
below with some seed

The Inkwell
I put seed out every morning … the jackdaws post sentries on the pear tree to look out for my two cats, and shriek and cackle when the spot them. 🙂

I put another post on here in relation to the winged sentries….they land on the neighbours roofs like they are their own!
