    It’s not that far

    enough to get

    the legs moving

    and the heart pumping

    that little bit faster

    A Spot of green

    Among the urban spread

    A place you might mistake for

    A forest at night – with

    Abundance of homes for squirrels and birds

    Spots for Sport and

    Spaces to keep fit as well as

    Suitable places for soccer or rugby

    Got a net ? you can play racket sports too

    Or even basketball if you have one

    Of course, little ones

    can enjoy the swings

    while those a little older

    can enjoy a go on

    the monkey bars

    from the mingling sand gathered

    around your sandals

    The expotition short

    leading to azure waters

    and happy shellfish

    and skipping about

    the golden dunes palm trees

    the odd green lizard
