he asked her at the vending machine
“something sweet, like you”
she replied
reflections of her smile
shone in the glass
as the tumblers turned
and the bag of sweets
dropped softly down
the call for the film
came over the tannoy
“and what do you want?”
answer given in a glint of gold
and a kiss before the opening credits
