My Favourite Place

#Socs

It’s not that far

enough to get

the legs moving

and the heart pumping

that little bit faster

A Spot of green

Among the urban spread

A place you might mistake for

A forest at night – with

Abundance of homes for squirrels and birds

Spots for Sport and

Spaces to keep fit as well as

Suitable places for soccer or rugby

Got a net ? you can play racket sports too

Or even basketball if you have one

Of course, little ones

can enjoy the swings

while those a little older

can enjoy a go on

the monkey bars
