a small bed of soil
home for your favourite plant
brightening up your view
or maybe making summat tasty

Early plants from seed
take a bit of time
but given a bit of time
water and food
the little seed rises
saying “Hello”

Fruits and vegetables
need support
as they grow – and
up supporting canes
their arms do grow

Is it a rainbow
seen in front of my eyes
no – its flowers in bulbs
that do rise
to my eyes surprise

Something for Tea?
fresh from the boarder
served up as a lovely salad
and for afters ?
