like fine wine its flavours are housed

with herbs and spices

Grape dances with blackberry

while raspberry dances with spice

and the fruity spicy dance goes on

On winter mornings

it wonders through the house warm

bringing an air of Christmas

Summer Afternoons

you’ll find it in a pitcher

or iced in lollies

while out in gardens

two of the three fruits are found

in the berry bush
