Getting Warmer

The Robin has returned

with jack frost loosening his

icy grip on the trees

swooping down on grass

softened by the sun above

he hunts for juicy worms

hopping on a branch

any snowflakes on tree of green

fall down onto the ground

signs of our red friend

when not flying or hunting ?

check the ground below
