Canalside Life

#WDYS

It winds its way through

the place you call your home

bringing you nature

water residents

pass along saying hello

with occasional quacks

navigators pass

down the flow of waterway

on way to next point

and birds waddle on

chasing passing boats on way

to the next lock gate
