Buttered Carrots

#Dinner #Roast #Honey #Butter #Carrots

They’ve been sat in a bath

like Cleopatra

soaking away in the good stuff

of Butter and Honey

served between potatoes, parsnips and peas

they know they are the stars of the feast

second only to the roasted bird

Chef knows its a good thing

he made double helpings of this sunny vegetable
