Deliveries Diverted

#MFFFC

Written for Melissa’s Fandango Flash Fiction Challenge. Photo credit: ©️ Pamela Underhill Karaz.

The Reindeer weren’t happy

at the weatherman’s news

they wished he could spend time

sat in their shoes

for while it was frosty

with crystals of ice

our heroes were grounded

santa paying the price

all toys and presents

delivered by elf mail

costs astronomic

even in winter sales

Calendars Ringed out

for snow around March

so look out for some stardust

over the Oak, Plane and Larch

The one thing that Santa

really didn’t find funny

was he’ll be dropping extra presents

from the Easter Bunny!

Oh no! It sounds like the post office made out, though. Or at least the elf post office, if there is one.
