The luggage lay lonesome
while an irate father
had a luminated conversation
with the transit company
Five laden cases
full of clothing toys and teddybears
forlorn outside their old address
forgotten by the man with the van
and sent to pick them up ?
Someone on a cycle
Solution to the problem
not two wheels but four
as father squeezed, and tugged and tied
the cases to the top of the family car
