When the little seeds

have been planted in the ground

and the sun has headed off to bed

she’s there to take care of them

Providing the water to let them grow

providing some warmth in the ground when it snows

and keeping their first roots nice and snug

protecting them from overhead birds and bugs

and as the plants they move up to the sky

they’ll see the clouds and sun saying Hi!

and trees and bushes begin to bear fruit

falling to the ground when it suits

And while man may sit round, on his comfy chair

mother nature looks on – she’s always there

directing the wind and the sun and the rain

ensuring that flowers and crops grow again
