The Inkwell

down in the depths

in the side of a hill

lives a friendly old soul

who lives there still

he’s busy in his house

cooking carrots and peas

with other delicious stuff

for the most delightful of teas

and he’ll be out in the garden

for herbs for the pot

whilst picking flowers for the table

in the garden there’s a lot
