around the field is a colorful sight,
marking the wheatfield walls,
the ladies of the village smile,
as roses yellow, red and white,
bring a bit of romance to all and soon
bread will be made for the village tea dance,
where the ladies will be seen dancing in a little while –
and farmers hands will take their chance
