Vegetables chopped find their way with some ease
into a tango with tomato and cheese
onions and carrots find their way to the dish
and joined by a pasta of everyone’s wish
could be layered or seashell or tubular of course
so long as it captures the created sauce
popped into the oven with relative ease
as the kids look at the window at the bubbling cheese
