They call them “Ships of the Desert”
apt, in the way they sail through the sand
gliding their feet , all nice and neat
on their way, to getting their rider a treat
passing places on a trail that you would like to see
stopping occasionally for a drop of tea
and people just watching, they follow the trail
of hoof prints left in the sand as they sail
