At four o’ clock most afternoons
i’d see my grandad in his back garden
feeding the flowers , the fruits and vegetables
he’d patiently wait, like a game of chess
for the little green shoots to arrive,
and while the rain fell, watering them all
he’d sit and look in the holiday brochures
while the plants grew high and tall

With a background in computing, and writing – his pen name harks back to when he played around with rhymes and a fountain pen.
