It’s fun visiting the greengrocers
with the various fruits on show
Strawberries Red and Raspberries Less
Oranges of the same colour full of Zest
Citrussy Lemons and Bananas are seen
mostly they’re yellow but they start off as green
much like the Limes that are green all the time
and blueberries and blackberries before ripening in sunshine
While at end of the bench plums of indigo blue
sharing space with grapes red purple and violet too
