Sycamore seeds hold on to their parent tree

persistently hanging on to their mum

in time though , the autumn wind sends them

round and round, rising and falling

as they do, they go hovering like a helicopter

lowering and lifting themselves on the wind, till they

land themselves on a spot of ground, they’ve not seen before

it’s all in mother natures plan –

night time sees them sleeping in soft soil,

growing their roots upon the first rays of spring
