Snug as a Bug

Being born can be a hectic affair

After your mum’s delivered you , A stream of

Beckoning nurses and doctors are checking

You Out

Being given your first feed

And then your first nappy

Before being wrapped up and put in

Your first place of sleep

Bears all around you

As you enter the space

Being wrapped up in your blanket

You’re feeling like a warm cub
