Over at the toy store
in buckets of colours mixed
are pieces of your lego man
waiting to be picked
from builder to spaceman
and cowboy and all
they’re put together by the kids
sitting about an inch tall
and the adventures they go on
are all down to you
as they drive a fire engine
or look after a zoo
Just be careful, where you take them
and keep hold of their threads
or they’ll meet with an accident
and could lose their heads
