Diving In

#FPQ

Fandango on his excellent column at fivedotoh.com, wants to know how i relieve stress

My Answer – is quite simple

DO SUMMAT ELSE

Now before people start posting all sorts of calumny against that idea, there’s a good reason why i mention it

Concentrating on the stressful situation can consume an individual if you let it….leaving it for a period of time eases the mind

so i’ll take that walk in the park, make myself a picnic lunch in the process…I’ll listen to some Little Richard on the steam powered wireless and yes I’ll even read a book….

(Revisiting Michael Palins Travelogs at the mo)

And shock, horror probe – i won’t refer to any tech as it might just trigger the stress point.

If the stress is too much even after all of this – its a call to a friend or the doctors to talk it through.

And if they offer help – i take it.

  3. Nice attitude! My level of stress dictates whether I can read or not. An ill loved one, or immediate crisis, makes it hard for me to concentrate. Other than that, I hear ya!
