Looking back, it seemed
out of nowhere
crazy ideas could be applied to
keep a little bug at bay
difficulty identifying friends and colleagues
outdoors or in – everybody was wearing masks
when it got really bad – kept in contact over zoom – but
nobody in authority seemed to follow their own advice
