He sat atop the conquered stone
admiring the view
cycling his way to the very top
for a moment or two
Looking out to heaven
and down among the hills
where the clouds amassed around his feet
sitting there all still
Standing aloft the tallest column
he smiled and enjoyed the scene
observing the blue of the seas about
and snow on the mountains of green
The only stumbling block to this
he smiled and then he frowned
was having ridden up so high
how was he to get down ?
