what are these stones – spread across the grass?
directional points when people pass?
or foundation spots for a grand temple hall
holding up planks for a great big wall
perhaps they were places for pigs sheep or cows
but why the odd shapes ? don’t ask me how
an odd thought – coming from an educational place
the stones could be a marker for space
Landing spot for some great UFO
They’d land and they’d visit and away they would go
More likely – the stones – were great mighty trees
Knocked over – by our ancestors – to get out of the breeze
