Restin’

Its hard to fathom

how these children of the scots pine

found their way on a bench by a northern harbour

their relatives happy to see them

still hanging around on their own tree

they’ve been hard at work

scattering their seed across the parks and greens

but now they need a break

so they’ll take five

on the bench they rest upon

before travelling on the breeze
