The weathers confusing
the migrating birds
in flocks they meet –
to have a few words
You see by now they’d be heading
to some place thats warm
away from the cold
that would be the norm
but the weather has shifted
as well as the tide
making it harder for the
birds to decide
so they’re flitting tween dockside
and birdfeeder and roof
till they’ve spotted its cold
and head off – aloof
