Graffiti : Photo by Pobble365

It was a dank, dark and horrible place

a place where refuse men

didn’t want to explore – but had to

the kids left mindless tags on the wall

the bin men gave the street artists a call

covering tags with spray painted art

mindless marks – disappeared – that was a start

making the alleyway – colourful and bright

somewhere the waste bins would be emptied at night

and the street “artistes” – had a place for their art

cleaning up other streets – a positive start

  1. It’s sometimes difficult to differentiate between vandalism and street art!

    1. You’re telling me! There’s a warner bros promotion going on in the city centre – looks like vandalism – but its actual street art.
