A tale of Growing up, by inky.
The fruit fell lightly from the branch
to underneath the tree
my little nephew picked them up
and asked a question of me
“Uncle, i know pears are ready to eat
when they’ve fallen from the tree
but why do we call them pairs ?
when there’s clearly three ?”
