the businessman turned politician entered the ring
could you call it bravado ? possibly
could you call it unplanned ? definitately
pompously ill-mouthing his opponents at the despatch box while
ignoring his own advisers like nero fiddling
perhaps his own inflated self-esteem
would protect him from any fateful fall
those behind him are just waiting
for the balloon to burst – in spectacular fashion
