Bluebell wood : Writephoto prompt by S.C Vincent

Brushing against the flowers in the carpet of blue

listen out for the chimes as you walk

usually, you wouldn’t hear them

except – on this occasion – there’s only the

birch trees – and they’re not saying much

even the squirrels are being quiet –

listening to the noise of the bluebells as they

lightly sway in the

spring breeze

    1. They seem to grow like wildfire in the side streets and green spaces of my neigbourhood Sue….not sprouted fully yet but i can guarantee walking past a clump or two after the covid 19 lockdown has been lifted

      1. This wood is a short drive from my home. All the bluebell woods are under lockdown too around here as it is mostly farmland.
