Empty Shelves

Salford 18th March 2020

#Shopping #Life #Onelinerwednesdays

They’ve taken all the bread again Mum!!!!

__________________________________________________________

I couldn’t call it a panic

but they’re filling up the trolley’s

stocking up the basics

and acting like they’re Wallies

It’s like its christmas run-up

but we’re only half way through lent

picking up “essentials”

in tins all bashed and bent

The stores insist on rationing

the soap and rolls for the loo

and toothpaste and soap are increased

so you dont buy what you normally do

Security’s breaking up ruckus

as there’s a fight for the bread in the aisles

and they’re scrambling for stuff in the freezer

with some skidding down the tiles

Simply put Fandango….they’ve turned a crisis into #ChristmasII – look forward to lining up for your ration books if it carries on….
