Granny Smith’s Apple

#CYW #Grannysmithsapple

Salford, 29th February 2020

Grown for many years , from the fruit trees in the garden

really fresh and juicy apples got picked at springtime

and used in a variety of ways

now, sometimes – they were chopped up and used in a strudel…

next time, they’d be mushed up and served up with a sunday roast

your preference ? stuffed with sultanas and served with custard!
