Captured in a colourful shell
heavenly scented semi solid seen
on confectioners shelves everywhere
crafted by masters of the art and poured
over delicious treats such as strawberry or hazelnut
locking these flavours in for a time, but
as the shell is exposed to the slightest of heat
the shell cracks open – and the flavours
escape – enjoy
