Two bunches of Bananas
Two Bunches of Bananas


Bright Yellow, when ripe

A favourite at lunchtime

Noted as a treat for most primates

And eaten, on its own or

Notably tween two slices of bread, or

As a pudding,

Maybe, covered in custard

Apes enjoy them – diced and with the skins on

Now, I like them baked, with a drop of

Ice cream….

Anyway you have them – they’re delicious!




Baked Bananas

By the time you’ve read this

A pair of bananas

Nestled in Tinfoil with Chocolate and Marshmallow will

Arrive on a plate ready for eating

Nice with any sort of ice cream

A favourite pudding after tea!
