Looking in the mirror
I count the creases
in this once youthful face
Time is a fickle friend
Where is that younger me ?
The one with hopes and dreams
And yet, when we meet
it seems time stands still
for the girl of fifteen
Essence of Youth ?
from the sea of time
or frozen in a moment ?
And the one thing that gets me
as the seconds move on
