Its the thing that brightens up your day
without it – your mood would be pretty dark
as flowers fruit and vegetation
would sleep on down in the ground
It’s the deliverer of colour
bringing shades of blue to the sky
occasionally bringing colour
in the form of a rainbow
And how many stars in the night sky
create the patterns above your head
with a lightshow of colour
before you go to bed ?
