I like patterns

you can find them all around you,

whether its in nature , or in your home furnishings

in a mural or a picture

I Volunteer at Imperial War Museum North, in Manchester, and a key place you spot patterns are in the camouflaged objects around the exhibition space

Most camouflage patterns are inspired by Nature. I was lucky enough to capture a picture of this lizard while he was standing still – out in the distance his patterned skin would have blended into the tree, as if he was part of it….Great for hide and seek.

Mother nature’s rather good with patterns as well, together with jack frost. This pic was taken in the winter season, and although it seems random, there’s a definite structure and pattern to the way the crystals of frost have formed on the car roof.
