Filled to the brim
with wonderful fruit
your average kid ponders
how they can squeeze so much
into something smaller than a scone
Wall to wall raisins
sit side by side
in their sleeping bag
of flaky pastry

Yummmm… I am not familiar with eccles cakes, but like your poem, they must be delicious! I really love the image of “Wall to wall raisins sit(ting) side by side in their sleeping bag of flaky pastry”. Well done!
By the way, thank you so much for the follow. I really appreciate it!
